Sebastián Aliga, a Sociology student at UDP, went on an exchange at the University of São Paulo in Brazil.

“My experience in this exchange has been really transformative. Studying at the University of São Paulo and living in Brazil have been a huge challenge, and at the same time, an adventure. Dealing with different academic demands and learning Portuguese as a third language has allowed me to grow holistically and step out of my comfort zone.

Knowing people from different cultures, exchanging ideas, and making international friends have been among the greatest sources of satisfaction. In addition, continuing to play rugby with the university team, which we will soon face in the tournament final, and travelling across this beautiful country have been unforgettable experiences. 

Living this opportunity has been one of the richest decisions of my life, and I recommend it to anyone willing to break with known and open to new perspectives.”
