Globaliza UDP, an volunteer based global training program which aims at contributing to the intercultural community present in our university community!
Just as the UDP seeks the integration of international, intercultural and/or global elements in the study programs, the International Relations Office promotes intercultural instances. The main program that seeks to offer spaces that facilitate the training of intercultural skills is the “GlobalizaUDP” volunteer program. This program’s main objective is to create and establish intercultural instances with the exchange of ideas, experiences, and knowledge between the local and international university community to foster respect, empathy, and intercultural communication. This objective is expected to be achieved through:
- The creation of activities that generate trust and allow the creation of real ties between students of different origins, seeking to contribute to a student life with ethical values and international reach for local and international students.
- The promotion of the development of language training in a practical and applied environment.
Facilitating the insertion of international students in the UDP and facilitating interaction with the UDP university community. - The articulation of activities that allow the dissemination of ad hoc information and community participation in instances with an international component.
- The motivation of UDP students to actively participate in internationalization, be it through activities in Chile or abroad.
