On Sunday, October 15, the 2023 call for applicatons opens to apply for the Leiden University Excellence Scholarship (LExS), which considers a substantive reduction in the tuition fee of the selected program (value corresponding to EU/EEA resident).

On this occasion, the call is aimed at UDP alumni who are interested in pursuing a one-year master’s degree in the area of humanities at the University of Leiden (Netherlands). Our House of Studies will complement this benefit, assuming full payment of the registration fee (reduced), the round trip ticket, and the annual health insurance for the selected scholarship recipient. The call will be open until November 16, 2023.

The Faculty of Humanities at Leiden University offers more than 50 master’s programs in English, which are eligible for UDP alumni. The updated program offering is available at the following link.

It is important to note that this scholarship is not equivalent to immediate acceptance to the study program of interest. The scholarship recipient is responsible for complying with the due process of selection and acceptance of the program of interest.
