“Hi, I’m Sofía Pérez Morales and I had the opportunity to do a semester exchange in my 5th semester of Political Science. I chose the University of Sciences Po Paris as it is an institution focused on political studies. I decided to apply to the Middle East and the North Africa located in the South of France in a small town called Menton.
The university teaches its courses in English or French, so I had the chance to deepen my learning in these languages. The classes I took ranged from the historical origin of the region to geopolitics, identity and state formation, which allows me to have a better and greater knowledge of the region in which I would like to specialize in the future.
The cultural diversity is very wide as it has a large international student population and Italian residents due to the fact that the city is located just a few minutes from the border with Italy.
In addition, I had the opportunity to get to know other countries, their culture and people, which was a comprehensive experience that met my expectations throughout my stay”
