Lectures, courses and information booths: International month kicks off at UDP

In the coming days, the General Directorate of International Relations (DGRRII) will launch a new edition of International Month at Diego Portales University (UDP).

This initiative features a variety of activities, courses, and dialogues with guest speakers aimed at highlighting the University’s international network and the diverse opportunities for globalization in cultural, academic, and linguistic terms.

Highlighted Activities

  • Scientific Cooperation Talk: On Wednesday, May 6, at 12:00 PM, the lecture “Chile–Sweden Scientific Cooperation: Progress and Opportunities in the ACCESS Network” will be delivered by the Ambassador of Sweden to Chile, Sofia Karlberg. The event will take place in Room 402 of the Nicanor Parra Library (Vergara 326, Santiago).
  • International Teaching Seminar: On Thursday, May 7, at 11:30 AM, a seminar on best practices in international teaching will be held. The session will showcase various UDP experiences that incorporate virtual exchange modalities through digital tools.

International Fair

As part of the International Month celebrations, an International Fair featuring several information booths will be held in the hall of the Nicanor Parra Library. Notable participating institutions include:

  • The Goethe Institut
  • The Confucius Institute
  • Austrade
  • The Embassy of Sweden
  • The Embassy of Poland
  • The French Institute
  • Education USA, among others.
