The COIL methodology arose in the 2000s with the intention of democratizing and mainstreaming the internationalization of the students of the State University of New York. “It is vital to be able to bring internationalization to projects and formal curricular instances to ensure that the largest number of students can access these training spaces with a global focus, where they can develop skills, knowledge and attitudes that will allow them to improve their academic and professional performance, as well projecting itself in other cultural spaces and networking”, he highlighted.

In this call, five projects were selected: some will be implemented during the second semester of 2023 and others during the first semester of 2024. Likewise, the academics involved belong to various careers of the faculties of Education, Communication and Letters and Health and Dentistry . Kinesiology was the only discipline that was awarded two projects, through different subjects.
