The International Relations office of our University are a 10-minute walk from Los Héroes Metro or a 2-minute walk from Toesca Metro.
Students must arrive before or on the same date indicated in their acceptance email.
All exchange students must attend the mandatory Orientation with the UDP International Student Coordinator.

Optional: Request the School Transport Pass. This document allows you to travel at a lower cost on the public transportation system. We recommend not having the school pass in your budget.
Santiago is the capital of Chile, it has an area of approximately 1,140 km2 and is home to about 7 million people (of the 17 million that the country has, according to the last census).
The Santiago airport is called “Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport”. It is located on the north side of Santiago, with no direct connection to the city. To get to the center of the capital, the cheapest way is to use the local buses called “Centropuerto”, which make transfers every 10 minutes during the day and every 1 hour at night to the Los Héroes Metro Station. You can check the schedules and the cost, directly at www.centropuerto.cl. Another way, although a little more expensive, is to check the official transfers that the airport has.
Regarding transportation in the city of Santiago, there is an integrated system of buses (or “micros”) and metro (“Subway” or “Underground” in English), called Transantiago. Both systems use a prepaid card called “Bip Card”.
To find out about the Metro network, you can visit the website www.metro.cl where the stations and lines that comprise it appear. And if you want to better plan your trip, you can visit the Transantiago website, which allows you to find out the best combinations and waiting times to get from one place to another in the city.
If your home university does not have an agreement with our institution, you can still come to study at our University by paying the tuition fee.
There are two types of courses in UDP, whose registration processes are different:
Disciplinary courses
They correspond to the subjects offered by the undergraduate and graduate plans of the programs.
The disciplinary courses are registered with the study secretaries of each school in person. Accepted exchange students will be informed by email of the details of the subject registration appointments.
Disciplinary course descriptions are not usually posted on our website. If you want the description of any subject you can request it to our email: [email protected].
*Internships might be restricted to exchange students, depending in spots available and specific requirements.
General Training Courses
You can find the general training courses here.
General training courses are registered by completing a registration form delivered by email to accepted exchange students.
In addition, the UDP has an offer of CFG dictated in English that can be consulted with the mobility coordinator, or reviewed in this link.
*B-learning and English courses are restricted to exchange students.
*Please consider that the information on course offerings varies from one semester to another. In addition, the available places may change, and the place is not guaranteed to any student prior to registration.
