2 August 2023

On July 28, about 10 people, including officials, students, and UDP alumni, received a certificate for completing the level A.1.1 French course that the French Institute in Chile developed on the premises of the University, between on April 12 and June 28.

During the activity, Juan Vera, assistant director of the Institute’s courses; Professor Kamila Michalska, also from the French Institute of Chile; and by Anoek van den Berg, General Director of International Relations, they delivered certificates and grade certificates. The students of the course passed with good grades and indicated that they wanted to continue with the next level that will start this second semester.

This course took place between April 12 and June 28 and lasted 30 chronological hours. It was carried out in the UDP with preferential prices thanks to the benefit agreement that the campus has with said institution.

Susan Miranda, participant of the first course, expressed: “I highly recommend taking this course. I participated in this basic level. When I arrived, I didn’t know anything and now I can greet, ask, say goodbye and in a very functional way now I can communicate. In addition, the teacher is native and very interactive and dynamic”.

During the next semester, the UDP community will be able to participate in similar courses. To do this, you can pre-register, until August 16, in different language courses (French, Chinese, German, English and Italian). It is expected that next semester there will be 2 French courses at 2 different levels. These courses will be carried out in accordance with the agreements that the UDP has and will have preferential prices for the university community.
