UDP receives students from Leiden University of the Latin American Studies Program

18 March 2024

The General Directorate of International Relations (DGRRII) received the students from Leiden University who, during the first semester of 2024, will carry out their student exchange at the UDP.

On this occasion, 10 students will come to the University to carry out a program focused on their academic training.

According to Paola Ortubia, coordinator of special programs at the DGRRII, the arrival of these students will strengthen the internationalization processes of the UDP community. “As with the arrival of American University students, all international students motivate Chilean students to want to know other countries and carry out exchanges.”

For the professional, this is also an opportunity for both national and international students to learn about other cultures and perfect different languages.

During this first semester, the UDP will receive about 100 students from various foreign institutions. This is an important figure that shows how the University is beginning to recover the normality it had, in terms of student exchange, before the pandemic.
