Applications for the call to be part of the “Summer-semester program: Wake Forest University” were opened.
This program includes 5 scholarships so that UDP students can live the experience of taking classes with a foreign university without leaving campus. The classes of this program will be taught at the UDP within the framework of the visit of a group of students from Wake Forest University together with professors from the same university. It is open to students of any major, you only need to have a letter of support from the direction or studies secretary of your school.
Classes will be taught in English, so an intermediate-advanced level (B1) of the language is required, which will be verified through an interview process. It is not necessary to have a language management certification.
The program will take place from January 8 to May 10, 2024, with a break in February and a scheduled trip to Argentina and Uruguay in the same month. The scholarships include accommodation and tickets for those selected.
It is a requirement that students take a course focused on Politics in Latin America and attend as listeners other courses focused on: Economy, History and Music. It is important that they maintain their attendance and pass the mandatory course (the politics course), so that it can be validated by a CFG.
The call is open until Sunday, November 5 and interviews will take place between November 6-9.
Those who apply must also include a motivation letter, their CV, and their regular student certificate.
