The process was marked by high student participation from the University&#8217;s eight faculties. Over one and a half months, a dissemination process was conducted, including informative talks and stands in various faculties and degree programmes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the faculties with the highest participation in this process was the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, with 25 applications. Richard Gillibrand, International Student Mobility Coordinator, highlighted that this \u201cis the faculty with the most proportional participation compared to its enrollment (2.5 %), well above the baseline goal of 1 % annual average in universities in Chile.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, he noted: \u201cAn especially important fact is that 45 of the 99 applications (45 %) have as first preference universities located in non-Spanish-speaking countries. This is the first time this has happened, which can be interpreted as strengthening of linguistic skills and a greater confidence to develop in different international contexts.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the other hand, Spain remains the most requested country for international exchange, accounting for around 50 % of preferences. A growing interest in countries such as Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and France, among others, was observed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the disciplines with the highest application numbers, Political Science (24), Architecture (10), Business (9), Psychology (9), and Industrial Civil Engineering (9) were highlighted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is worth noting that the University has an International Mobility Programme for both UDP students and international students who wish to internationalise their studies here at UDP.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With around 100 applications, the Office of International Relations closes the call for International Mobility 2027-1.
