{"id":12900,"date":"2026-05-04T09:35:27","date_gmt":"2026-05-04T13:35:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/internacional.udp.cl\/?p=12900"},"modified":"2026-05-06T10:07:06","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T14:07:06","slug":"con-charlas-cursos-y-stands-informativos-comienza-el-mes-internacional-en-la-udp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/internacional.udp.cl\/en\/con-charlas-cursos-y-stands-informativos-comienza-el-mes-internacional-en-la-udp\/","title":{"rendered":"Lectures, courses and information booths: International month kicks off at UDP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the coming days, the <\/span><b>General Directorate of International Relations (DGRRII)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will launch a new edition of <\/span><b>International Month<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at Diego Portales University (UDP).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This initiative features a variety of activities, courses, and dialogues with guest speakers aimed at highlighting the University&#8217;s international network and the diverse opportunities for globalization in cultural, academic, and linguistic terms.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Highlighted Activities<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Scientific Cooperation Talk:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> On Wednesday, <\/span><b>May 6, at 12:00 PM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the lecture <\/span><b>&#8220;Chile\u2013Sweden Scientific Cooperation: Progress and Opportunities in the ACCESS Network&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be delivered by the <\/span><b>Ambassador of Sweden to Chile, Sofia Karlberg<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The event will take place in Room 402 of the <\/span><b>Nicanor Parra Library<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Vergara 326, Santiago).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>International Teaching Seminar:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> On Thursday, <\/span><b>May 7, at 11:30 AM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a seminar on <\/span><b>best practices in international teaching<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be held. The session will showcase various UDP experiences that incorporate virtual exchange modalities through digital tools.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>International Fair<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of the International Month celebrations, an <\/span><b>International Fair<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> featuring several information booths will be held in the hall of the <\/span><b>Nicanor Parra Library<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
